Do you want to be a part of something new? Work behind the scenes of some Key Club events? Well, with that being said, Independence High School Key Club presents...
SPRING BOARD APPLICATIONS!
What is a board member you ask? Board members work behind the scenes of events, lead events, and much more. This is the first step in becoming a leader, and I promise you that it'll definitely be worth it in the end. This is one of the most rewarding things that you will be able to experience so why not give it a try? Applying to join our leadership team will allow individuals to enhance all of the core values (caring, inclusiveness, character-building, and leadership) that Key Club strives to emphasize. We aim to help our board grow and gain all the skills necessary to take on all the challenges that come along at club and real world level.
I hope you all apply and join our Key Club Ohana <33!!

MNT. Maternal Neonatal Tetanus. A deadly disease that kills a mother, and her unborn child. This disease kills a baby every 15 minutes. Leading to over 34,000 babies being killed every year. However, this can be prevented! With a vaccine that only costs $1.80! Unfortunately, even though there is a way to prevent MNT, a baby is still killed every 15 minutes. Why? Because mothers can't afford this one vaccine. A vaccine that costs $1.80, does not seem very expensive at all, but to mothers in other countries, it could be worth their life savings. UNICEF and Key Club is back at it again, with another collaboration for Eliminate Week! This week is to spread awareness about MNT, and to also fundraise for vaccines for future mothers!
